Solid vs Engineered Hardwood
There are two types of hardwood options: solid and engineered. Solid hardwood is the more traditional option; it is one solid plank of wood. Its thickness and uniform construction gives you the ability to refinish them.
Engineered hardwood is made up of multiple layers that are pressed together cross-grained for increased stability. Because they are made of multiple layers, they can really only be refinished a handful of times depending on how thick the top veneer is.
Our Hardwood Selection
We carry the best quality and best brands of hardwood flooring. Our membership with the Carpet One cooperative allows us to stock name brands such as Provenza, Armstrong, and Baroque, as well as Carpet One exclusive brands like Rustic River.
